Healthy tofu coated with oats
Ingredients

- One box of  tofu

-  1 small cup of all purpose flour  

- 1 egg  

- 1 small cup of Quarker oats ( grind into powder )  

- oil (for frying) 

- 2 tablespoons of soya sauce 

- 2 tablespoons of oysters sauce 

- 1 tablespoon of rice wine 

- 6 tablespoons of water 

Garnishing  

- cucumber  (slices) 

- tomatoes or carrot(slicees).

 

 

Procedure

Step 1 : Drain the tofu to remove excess water . Cut the tofu into stripe.

Step 2 : Coat with the flour first ,  then egg and finally Quarker oats powder  . 

Step 3: Heat the oil in frying pan . Carefully put the tofu pieces in to fry and when they turn golden, remove and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil. 

Step 4: Mix the soy sauce,  rice wine . Oyster sauce with water .  Bring to the boil in the pan .  

Step 5: Pour the hot sauce  onto the bowl of tofu and garnish with cucumber and tomatoes  or carrot.
