Ingredients
For every 2 tacos:
- 15g quaker oats
- 1 egg
- 50 g chicken fillet
- Lettuce leaves
Optional:
- Pepper
- Paprika
Procedure
Taco shell:
- Break and beat the egg, and then mix with quaker oats. (Optional: add seasonings such as pepper, paprika to the mixture)
- Pre-heat a frying pan, add 0.5 tsp of oil and then set flame to small (strong flame may cause the shell to burn)
- Pour the egg-oats mixture into the frying pan
- When the base is firm enough, flip to the other side until it is fully cooked
Taco filling:
- Marinate the chicken fillet with salt and pepper or any of your preferred choice of condiments.
- Place the chicken fillet in a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes at 250 degree Celsius until chicken is cooked through
- Shred the cooked chicken fillet with fork
*You can also pan-fry the chicken fillet or opt for other meat
Taco:
- Place the shredded chicken into the taco shell
- Add vegetables of your choice such as lettuce, tomatoes
- Drizzle the taco with sauces if you would like to (such as salsa, sesame sauce etc)
- Tuck in and enjoy!
