Macha Waffles
- 250g Self-raising flour, sifted
- 1 and 1/2 tbsp Green tea powder, extra for dusting
- 50g Quaker Whole Rolled Oats
- 75g Soft brown sugar
- 250ml Low fat milk
- 100g Melted margarine
- 2 Egg whites
- Some strawberries, blueberries or fruits of your choice
1. Sift flour together with green tea powder into a mixing bowl. Add in Quaker Whole Rolled Oats, soft brown sugar and melted margarine.
2. Slowly add in milk until mixture is well mixed. Leave it to stand for 30 minutes.
3. Beat egg white with a whisk till fluffy and mix it into the batter.
4. Spoon batter into a heated waffle maker (lightly grease waffle plate first) until it just covers the plate.
5. Once waffle is cooked, remove to cool on wire rack.
6. To serve, lightly sieve some green tea powder onto plate, top with waffles, fruits and some yogurt on the side.
