Fun 'n Easy OATSicle!
Base ingredients for popsicle:
- 4 tablespoons Quaker Instant Oats
- 3/4 cup low fat milk
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup Greek yoghurt
(1) Blueberry Chia Pop
- 1/2 cup finely chopped blueberries
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
(2) Zesty Orange-Apricot Pop
- 1/2 cup orange cubes
- 1/2 cup finely chopped apricot
(3) Mocha Energisier Pop
- 2 tablespoons espresso
- 2 tablespoons dark chocolate sauce
- 1/2 cup finely chopped dark chocolate
(4) Summer Berry Fruit Pop
- 1/2 cup pitted cherries
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 1/4 cup coconut shreds
1. In the pitcher of a blender, add the oats, milk, honey and yoghurt and puree until smooth.
2. Divide the mixture evenly among six ice pop moulds. Combine fruits or other ingredients of your choice to achieve your desired popsicle flavour. Refer to above for inspiration, or get creative!
3. Freeze until solid, at least 8 hours, but preferably overnight.
4. Rest at room temperature for a few minutes before un-moulding.
Tip: Top up the mould with leftover fruit juice to get a fruity popsicle base!
