Hearty Tomato Soup

Ingredients
- 1 Can of San Marzano Tomatoes
- 1/2 tbsp Oil
- 2 Cloves of Garlic (minced)
- 1/2 of a Medium Onion (diced)
- 1 stick of Celery
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 600ml Chicken stock
- 4 tbsp Quaker quick cook oats
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 4 tbsp Milk
- 1 Leaf of basil (sliced thinly)
Procedure
- In a pot, fry diced onion, celery and salt until translucent.
- Add in minced garlic and fry until fragrant.
- Add in canned tomatoes, chicken stock, oats and sugar.
- Cook for 15 minutes, stirring every so often to prevent oats from burning on the bottom.
- Use a blender and blend mixture till silky smooth and add in milk.
- Serve in a bowl and garnish with a spoon of milk on the top along with the basil.
