- 1/2 cup Quaker Instant Oatmeal
- 1 cup water
- Spices as desired (curry leaves, 2 shallots, 1 green/red chili, salt)
Procedure
I was searching for instant oats recipes for weight loss and 90% of the searches were overnight oats or equivalent, which is really boring :(
Came across this Oats Thosai recipe which was incredibly fast & simple, and best of all, contains close to no calories, seasoning and fats!
Steps: Blend together Quaker instant oats, water, Spices as desired (bunch of curry leaves, 2 shallots, 1 chili, pinch salt)
Take one ceramic teaspoon worth of batter, spread it in a circular motion in a non stick pan, over a small flame.
Thosai is done once it dries and the ends curl up, may only take a minute or so.
Served with a homemade sun dried tomato dahl.
Psst: if you make it slightly thicker, it can pass off as a healthy blini ?
