Healthy Banana Oat Bars

Ingredients
- 1 cup wholemeal flour
- Half tablespoon baking soda
- Quarter tablespoon salt
- 120g brown sugar
- 100g butter
- 1 egg
- 3 ripe small bananas
- 1 cup Quaker instant oatmeal
- Half cup pitted dates
- Half cup walnuts, chopped
Procedure
- Stir together flour, baking soda and mix well
- Beat butter and brown sugar with electric mixer until well blended
- Add egg and bananas, then add flour mixture and mix well
- Mix in oats, dates and walnuts
- Spread evenly in baking pan and bake 30 minutes at 180 degrees C
- Cool completely in pan on wire rack and cut into bars
