Ingredients
Ingredients : (2 pax portion)
- 3 medium Russet Potatoes
- 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 Tbsp of instant Quaker oatmeal
- 3 Tbsp of shredded cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure
Steps :
- grate the potatoes
- use kitchen towel to squeeze and remove the moisture as much as possible
- season with salt and pepper accordingly to your taste
- add shredded cheese and oat into grated potato and mix well (add more Quaker oat if you want)
- heat up frying pan and melt 2 Tbsp of butter (for one Rosti)
- fill the pan with grated potato about 1 inch deep
- use spatula to push down the potato like making a pan cake
- pan fried each side for 5 mins or till golden brown
- add in salt and pepper if you wish
- Optional : add in more butter if you find it too dry
