Healthy Cheesy Quaker Oatmeal Rosti
Ingredients

Ingredients : (2 pax portion)

 

  • 3 medium Russet Potatoes 
  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 Tbsp of instant Quaker oatmeal
  • 3 Tbsp of shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste 
Procedure

Steps :

  1. grate the potatoes 
  2. use kitchen towel to squeeze and remove the moisture as much as possible
  3. season with salt and pepper accordingly to your taste
  4. add shredded cheese and oat into grated potato and mix well (add more Quaker oat if you want)
  5. heat up frying pan and melt 2 Tbsp of butter (for one Rosti)
  6. fill the pan with grated potato about 1 inch deep 
  7. use spatula to push down the potato like making a pan cake
  8. pan fried each side for 5 mins or till golden brown
  9. add in salt and pepper if you wish 
  10. Optional : add in more butter if you find it too dry
