Oatmeal Risotto with Pan-Seared Sea Bass
Oat Risotto
- 1 Cup of Quaker quick cook oatmeal
- 1 Tablespoon of edamame beans (optional)
- 250ml of Chicken broth
- 25g of Butter
- 1 clove of Garlic
- 1 clove of Shallot
- Pitch of Black pepper
Sea Bass
- 1 Fillet sea bass
- Pitch of salt and black pepper
- Pitch of thyme powder
Oat Risotto
1. Heat the pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
2. Stir fry garlic, shallot and edamame bean till it aromatic.
3. Add in oatmeal and butter. Stir fry it till slightly golden brown with buttery smell coming out.
4. Add in chicken broth slowly at a time and simmer the oats till it turn thick and add in pitch of black pepper. The oatmeal risotto is done.
Pan Seared Sea Bass
1. Season the sea bass with pitch of salt, black pepper and thyme powder on both side
2. Heat the pan with 2 tablespoon of olive oil.
3. Pan sear the sea bass on both side till it turn golden brown.
