Oatpicious chicken coconut
- 1 whole coconut
- 1 egg
- 150g minced meat (able to made up to 3 coconut dish)
- 3 tablespoons of Quaker ready to eat oat (grind by food spinner)
- 1 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 pinch of black pepper
- 5 pieces of fish maw
- 1/2 tablespoons chicken stock
- 1/2 tablespoons corn floor
1. soak fish maw (circle type) into water till it soft
2. marinate chicken minced meat with sesame oil, soy sauce, oyster sauce,Quaker oat, half egg white and corn floor (marinate around 10 mins)
3. cut fish maw into 5 pieces (shown in photo)
4. stuff marinated chicken minced meat into fish maw
5. Cut the top of coconut; pour the coconut juice into a small pot and add chicken stock to cook.
6. put the stuffed fish maw into the coconut water (small pot)
7. boil for 10 mins (the fish maw will be tender and delicious; all the fragrance will keep into fish maw.
8. put the fish maw and coconut stock into the whole coconut ; add in the left over 1/2 egg white + egg yolk, cover the coconut
9.use a wok to steam whole coconut for 30 mins
10. viola!! serve when it hot!! It's yummy and delicious. It can be a festive dish.
