Quaker Oaty Shepherd Pie

Ingredients
Ingredients :
> 300g minced mutton
> 150g frozen mixed vegetables
> 100ml water
> 1 onion chopped
> 1 clove garlic chopped
> 2 Tbsp tomato paste
> 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
> 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
> 4 Tbsp Quaker instant oat
> 1 Tbsp dry thyme
> 1 Tsp salt
> 1 Tsp pepper
Mashed potatoes :
> 4 russet potatoes
> 200ml milk
> 2 Tbsp shredded cheese
> 2 Tbsp butter
> 1 Tsp salt
> 1 Tsp pepper
Procedure
Steps :
- Pre-heat oven 180c for 10mins
- heat oil and add in onion and garlic
- add in minced mutton and mixed frozen vegetables
- keep stirring for about 5mins
- add in all-purpose flour, tomato paste, instant oat, dry thyme, salt and pepper
- add water and stir for another 5 to 10 mins
- mix well and spoon the meat out to lay inside glass bakeware
- boil potatoes till soft
- mix boiled potatoes with milk , cheese , butter, salt and pepper
- mix well and mash till fluffy
- cover the mashed potato over the meat
- sprinkle some oat on the top layer
- bake for 20 mins or till golden brown
